Features
Every feature in JB PARCEL
Search parcels, screen deals and check the numbers, on county tax records and property detail.
Search and Discovery
Three ways to find a property
Search by owner
Find every property tied to a person or an LLC, nationwide. One search covers the whole database, not one state at a time. Owner names are present in at least 50 states, and how complete they are varies county by county.
Read how investors find owners →Quick lookups
Jump directly to any property by street address or parcel number. Type it and the card opens.
Screen on what you care about
Filter by zoning, land use, acreage, appraised value, year built, ownership tenure, and entity type. Stack filters until the list is short enough to work.
Map and Layers
Parcel boundaries and neighborhood context
County parcel boundaries
See the county's own parcel outline on an interactive map, for research and screening. These are assessor mapping lines, not a survey: good enough to judge shape, frontage and roughly how big a lot is, and not a legal description of where the fence goes. About one parcel in six carries an outline today, because plenty of counties publish records without publishing shapes.

Coverage
What 50 states does and does not mean
We hold parcels in every state, and coverage is not one number. Four different things vary, and they vary independently. Here they are separately, because a single headline figure would be wrong three times over.
Where we hold records at all
151,034,720 parcels across 2,871 counties and county equivalents in all 50 states. This is the widest of the four numbers and the one the home page quotes.
Where the map draws a lot line
151,072,388 parcels carry a boundary, nearly every record we hold. Boundaries come from the county, so where a county publishes assessment records without publishing shapes you still get the record and the numbers, you just do not get the polygon.
How deep each record goes
Appraised or assessed value reaches at least 47 states. Building detail such as square footage and year built reaches at least 44. This is the shallowest of the four and the one we add to every week.
Where you can search by name
Owner search runs against the whole database at once rather than state by state, so a portfolio that crosses state lines comes back in one result. Owner names are present in at least 50 states.
Coverage is decided county by county, not state by state. Before you build a workflow on a market, open that county and see exactly which fields it carries today.
