JB Parcel ("we," "us," "our," or "JB PARCEL") is committed to protecting your privacy.   • Usage data: your searches, saved buy-boxes, saved searches, and other interactions within the Service
  • Technical and log data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, timestamps, and referring URLs
  • Communications: emails or messages you send to us through our support channels

3. Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not collect or store your full credit card details. Stripe handles all payment processing and retains your payment information according to their own privacy policy and security standards. 4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to maintain your session state while you use the Service. This cookie is required for the app to function properly and to provide you with a continuous user experience. The session cookie is deleted when you log out or close your browser.

We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages and features get used, so we know what to improve. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and records things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, your rough location (city level) and the type of device and browser you use. We turn on IP anonymization and we do not send your name, email or anything you type into the site to Google. Google's handling of this data is covered by its own privacy policy. You can block it with a browser extension such as Google's opt-out add-on or any standard content blocker and the site will work the same.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve the Service
  • Process your subscription payments and manage your account
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
  • Send service-related announcements and updates
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience

The property parcel and tax assessment data displayed in JB PARCEL is compiled from county records and federal sources. This data is not collected from you personally but rather is sourced from county records and third-party data providers. We do not combine this public record data with your personal account information except as necessary to deliver search results and features you request.

7. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers (such as Stripe for payment processing) who are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only to provide services on our behalf
  • Law enforcement or government agencies if required by law, court order, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain usage data and log data in anonymized form for analytics and system improvement. If you wish to delete your account or request that we delete your personal data, please contact us at support@jbparcel.com. We will comply with deletion requests within thirty days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit using HTTPS, hashed password storage, and restricted access to systems containing personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete such information immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service following such notification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
